Cal Rifkin:

Cal Rifkin is a garage rock/power pop trio from the Nation’s Capital. The band’s energetic sound and live performances are inspired by 70’s Power Pop, early 90’s Indie Rock and much more.  “All the ingredients are there…The driving, lo-fi rock sound, the sentimental lyrics, the secretly sick guitar solo…”  – Mike Dranove (The Deli Magazine)

Moozy was formed in early 2020. It was to be the new musical vehicle for Dylan Rockwell and Pat Gunning, after the dissolution of their former band Friends of Friends. Although the original intention was to form a fully realized new band to play shows and record original music, when the pandemic hit, Moozy pivoted to become a recording-only project. Dylan and Pat recorded the first Moozy EP in their home studio, entirely during quarantine, enlisting the musical tastes of Nick Fliakas and Donovan Duvall on bass and keys, respectively. The musical style is eclectic, incorporating elements of indie rock, neo-soul, and folk/singer-songwriter genres. Following the EP, Moozy has been writing a full catalog of original music, and is finally starting to debut their sound in a live setting. With the addition of Reed Doherty as a second guitarist and vocal harmony specialist, as well as Nick Fliakas returning on bass and background vocals, the dynamic live act is complete. It’s been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited

Rosie Cima & What She Dreamed is a four piece rock band based in Washington DC. Songwriter and frontwoman Rosie Cima combines forces with Steven Burch (The Sock Market), Barrett Browne, and Mashaal Ahmed to create a heartfelt and lyrically-driven blend of folk, punk, and art rock, in the vein of Big Thief, Angel Olsen, and Hop Along. The band formed to play the release show of Cima’s debut EP Blackberry, Blackberry, Blackberry in 2018, and they released their first full length — Realm of the Warring Gods — in March 2021 on DC community record label This Could Go Boom!
