Gritty pop-punk with charging guitars and melodic, yet gruff, vocals – American Television has established themselves as one of DC’s prominent fixtures of the district’s active punk scene. Their live performance is a joyous release of energy in contrast to their Magic 8 Ball world view of “outlook not so good.” Wiretap Records released the band’s debut LP, Watch It Burn, in 2020.

Timeshares are a band with members scattered across the East coast. Their latest EPs reflect their gradual shift from a mid-tempo punk rock band to indie rock with alt-country undertones. A decade on the road hasn’t worn these boys out … the band still hits hard as ever, and has mastered the art of good, honest songwriting.

Richmond, Virginia is a breeding ground for punk rock creativity. Three-piece pop-punk power trio, ShotClock, is Richmond’s latest offering. The band bridges the gap between contemporary and classic pop-punk sounds with catchy three-minute jams. This project features active members of Ann Beretta and Fire Sale.

DC jangly-punk veterans Railsplitter are back for their first show since 2019. After hunkering down for the majority of the pandemic, the band is back with new songs that process our fractured new reality while looking to past punk standards like Husker Du, Leatherface, and Snuff.
