Uruguay is on their way to becoming an undeniable force in the realm of anti-pop. Taking a grungier approach to the genre with their five singles to date, the group harnesses influences from Radiohead, and narratives like Billie Eilish, Arlo Parks, and Dua Saleh. These inflections have been translated into a vibrant kaleidoscopic of sonic waves through which their organic production and haunting vocals leave a lasting impression.

Nico Janssen is a critically-acclaimed D.C. musician known for his catchy indie pop songwriting,
emotional voice, punk-inspired guitar licks and brutally honest lyrics – evoking the National, Arctic
Monkeys, and Father John Misty. His previous bands include Seattle teenage indie darlings New Faces

summer 2022, muses on climbing Everest, Ancient Rome, La Dolche Vita, human evolution, the Great
Resignation, hunter gatherers and social media addiction.
